Unfortunately it was not clear in the description that this dress is see-through on the bottom part and, hence, cannot be worn as-is. Also, as others mentioned, the top part is very tight…I should have sized up.

Hi Jean, thank you for your feedback! We're glad you find the dress lovely. I would disagree about it being transparent or 'see-through' as it certainly can and is worn 'as is'. As a white dress it will never be 100% opaque, but it is definitely not 'transparent'. I have happily worn mine all summer in the UK and on holiday - and would advise anyone reading this that whilst the dress isn't opaque in a way a heavy cord dress would be, it offers more than adequate coverage. Size-wise I am a 10 34B and the 10 fits perfectly. If you are larger busted, consider sizing up.

Beautiful dress! Haven't taken it off especially in this hot weather! Fits true to size and because of the straps can be worn with a bra.
Washes well and has an underskirt so nothing shows through 😊
Hi Debbie, we're so happy to hear you love the dress! Just in case anyone is reading the review, there isn't an underskirt, but the material is a lovely weight.
The embroidery is beautiful and this dress has been thoughtfully designed to hide bra straps and flow over the tummy. Cheesecloth is a great fabric for hot days. I did have to size up as the dress is quite tight across the chest even with the shiring at the back and me being a small chested lady. Once I found the perfect fit I fell in love with Rosa!
