I'm between sizes 12 and 14 so ordered both and kept the 14 as I'd rather a slightly looser fit. Fabric is just right, not thin and not heavy. I like the face that I can wear a suntop or t-shirt underneath and extend its wear ability. I also had to adjust the straps shorter but not a problem for me. I've bought a few prices from Wardrobe 44 and I've always been pleased with the quality.
I've ordered lots of items from Wardrobe 44 since discovering them a few months back. Every one has surpassed my expectations.
This dress is no different in many ways. It's a timeless style made in beautifully soft denim. I loved it and so wanted it to work for me.
Unfortunately the straps slid off my shoulders and adjusting to the shorter length made it look odd and ruined the neckline. I could have sized down but I think then it would have been too tight elsewhere.
It's a gorgeous dress, just not right for me. I think 1 out of about 12 purchases not working out is a good record and almost inevitable as one design can't always work for everyone. I remain a loyal Wardrobe 44 fan and would still recommend this dress as it may well be an ideal fit for someone else. Delivery and service excellent as always.
