Louise This was my first order but after seeing the dress on Instagram I decided to order. The dress arrived very quickly but I felt I needed a smaller size - no problem at all! Returned for a smaller size and was received the day after! I did feel initially it was a lot of money for a casual dress but I have already have got so much wear from it. Super easy to wear and the fabric is really soft and comfortable. No tight waistbands either so wore it to a BBQ and felt super comfy all night. This dress can go from day to night and the sleeves are easy to push up. Wearing it again today for a shopping trip! I think this will be my go-to dress all year :) Will certainly be checking the Wardrobe 44 website from now on! Thank you

Jo Wrigley Really disappointed with this dress. The quality of the fabric seemed cheap and it was made in China. Couldn’t make it look anything on me so returned.

We were disappointed to read your review. The fabric is a premium breathable viscose, which drapes beautifully and has proved incredibly popular with our customers. I personally love it and adore the dress. In terms of it being made in China, we are proud to partner with an incredible Chinese factory where fabrics are sourced sustainably, staff are paid and treated well and quality control is exceptional. There is a slightly xenophobic view that Chinese manufacturing is universally bad. However, China is a huge country and Chinese factories are more than versed in producing incredible, premium products. In fact, the majority of designer brands (celebrated for their quality) produce in China. There are certainly many factories that churn out rubbish, but we choose to work with ethically-minded producers who strive to do their best. There are good and bad manufacturers everywhere from the U.K. to Europe and China, and it’s our responsibility as consumers to avoid defaulting to the simplistic stereotype that all Chinese manufacturing is 'bad'. It is also our responsibility as a brand (and one we take very seriously) to only work with audited factories who take standards and ethic seriously. In terms of the one-star review, we do feel it's quite harsh considering your dress was dispatched for free the morning after your 9pm order, arriving with you the next day. It was as described and happily, it's had a number of 5-star reviews, we're sorry it didn't work out for you.

Evie Rose I was a little anxious ordering this as all over leopard print pushes me out of my comfort zone. However, I was stuck in a rut style wise and needed a wardrobe revamp. I LOVE this dress. The quality is definitely a step beyond many "high street" brands - lovely, floaty material. It's also very comfortable and flattering. I can imagine wearing this in both daytime and evening. A beautifully versatile piece. So glad I took a leap of faith both with this dress and Wardrobe 44 (this was my first order). It's given me a real confidence boost and I can't wait to wear it. I'll definitely be ordering again...and soon!

Donna M. Really pleased with this dress. The material is very soft and sits lovely. Great deep pockets and I like the small slits at the sides. Worth the money as already worn it several times, received compliments, and it will work as well for cooler months as summer.

Suzanne W. Gorgeous dress - but it didn’t quite suit me and was very very long so I’d have paid for tailoring. Sadly therefore returned. But a great dress.
