NOTES FROM THE STUDIO

October is here and we're gearing up for the imminent arrival of party season. When the nights draw in, it feels like there are two options; cosy up inside or dress up to sparkle (although there's no reason why you can't do both)..

We are looking forward to nights out with the arrival of our new lurex Isabella tops. These are GORGEOUS. Subtly sparkly, I've been excited about these ever since we started work on them back in early spring. Low-key, yet fabulous they look great with our Roxy trousers. We are also busily behind the scenes, getting ready for new skirts and party knits as well as gorgeous rollnecks and cashmere wristwarmers (as we said, October really is a game of two halves). We are also frantically trying to restock sold out styles such as our Kate lace trim tops, Tara leopard skirts and Evie ruffle collar shirts. Watch this space (or sign up for a restock alert!)

We are also having great fun embracing our Autumn collection and seeing how you style yours. This last week, we've seen gorgeous Lisa Faulkner in the Alex cardigan in stripe, amazing @StyledbymrsJ in the fluffy Orla knit and fabulous Frankie (from The Traitors) in the beautiful Piper blouse. One of my lovely customers sent a picture of her wearing her ICONIC merino knit accessorised with dahlias.

Finally, it's all about looking ahead to Summer next year. It takes a long time to create our collections. From the first spark of an idea to designing a piece, sampling, working with a garment technician to tweak, further sampling and then finally booking the order and shipping it (we like to sea freight wherever we can), it's a lengthy process. So, whilst in our lives we are all about fluffy knits and cinnamon buns, in our heads, we're trying to think hot days and holidays. Wish us luck!
